Malte Mittermeier was born in Hamburg and grew up in the rural district Verden, where he now lives and runs his own practice.
He completed his studies at the German Sport University Cologne in 1997 with a degree in Sports Science. He then attended the Wilhelm-Rehberg-Schule in Wunstorf and received well-grounded training as a practitioner of alternative health. He obtained his license to practice alternative medicine in 1999. Through this twofold training, he is qualified to be an alternative health practitioner for sport.
He worked in an alternative health practice in Hannover from 2000 to 2004 before he opened his own practice in Verden for naturopathy, sports medicine and performance diagnostics in April 2004. The practice has been located on Hauptstraße in Kirchlinteln since 2009. End of the year 2013 the new practice-rooms next to the post office in Verden opened their doors, in the street called Norderstädtischer Markt 8.
In addition to the chiropractic and sports medicine activities of his own practice, he works as a consultant for a large German health insurance company.
Due to his diverse training, he decided to make gentle American chiropractic the focus of his work, but his patients also benefit from his knowledge in the disciplines of classic medicine and sport medicine.
