Chiropractic Is Common ...

Chiropractic is the USA's fastest growing (and second largest) profession in primary health care.

There are an estimated 60,000 practicing doctors of chiropractic in the United States, found everywhere from rural areas to city centers. More than 10,000 students are currently enrolled in a CCE (The Council on Chiropractic Education) approved chiropractic training program.

There is a huge demand for chiropractic services. Americans in the tens of millions are routinely treated by chiropractors and this number is climbing rapidly. In 1993 more than 30 million people made chiropractic a regular part of their health program.

A doctor of chiropractic obtains a comprehensive and demanding professional training, which is based on well-founded scientific principles. The existence of the nervous system as the most important control mechanism of the body is a scientific fact. Its connection to the spinal column is the focus of chiropractic practice.
